Linda Small

Hi, I’m Linda Small, Owner and CEO of Retail People Solutions Inc., and I started as a consultant years ago working in business start-ups and turnarounds.  After years working for many large corporations in the fields of airline and hospitality, manufacturing, health care, finance, and moving in and out of consulting projects, I have learned from the experts in many fields what works in creating healthy work environments where employees and customers love to work and shop. Working closely with executive level teams and front line employees, our team has the ability to align organizations at all levels to get the most of their work teams and maximize sales potential.

The processes that RPS utilizes are customized to the organization and have created the best practices utilized in stores throughout the country.  Our expectations of consistency and accountability are key in making our processes successful in every organization we have worked with.  Understanding and clarity of what an organization stands for based on daily processes building on core values customized for the organization are paramount in our processes. However, the commitment is also key at all levels of execution and our built-in systems assure a win-win success. 

Our consultants work closely with our clients to assure we accomplish the goals set forth by the organization and have systems to communicate regularly and give input on measurement goals and accomplishments, assist with coaching, and all best practices implemented at the store level. Our team has experience in retail management, human resources, operational best practices, coaching and development, and numerous strategic planning practices and work hand-in-hand at all levels of the team from owner to front line. They are all proficient in our foundation process, The Vision Process.

We have also collaborated with NRHA (National Retail Hardware Association) to provide our process to all retail hardware organizations in North America.  Their team has also been trained in our Vision Process and RPS continues to consult with their team to be sure they are providing ongoing support in our shared processes.
